Winter had finally arrived, and the whole world looked like it had been dusted with sparkly sugar. Honey stepped outside and gasped—Snow! It shimmered like tiny stars on the ground.
“Come play!” Honey called.
Her friends—a fluffy dog buddy, a cheerful bluebird, and a chubby little squirrel—bounded out to join her.
They twirled in the falling snowflakes, trying to catch them on their tongues.
Then they rolled silly snowballs to build the goofiest snow friend ever. The snow friend had a crooked carrot smile, two button eyes, and a scarf that kept sliding off its snowy shoulders.
A chilly breeze tickled Honey’s nose.
“Brrr! Warm-up time!” she giggled.
Inside they went—hats off, mittens hung up to dry. Honey poured warm cocoa (extra mini marshmallows for everyone!) and the friends snuggled under a soft, warm blanket.
Outside, snowflakes danced.
Inside, friends smiled.
And that’s the magic of winter—
Snowflakes, giggles, and being together.
