Gabby and the Wiggly Worm
One sunny morning, Gabby trotted through the garden looking for butterflies.
Suddenly, she spotted something tiny wiggling in the dirt.
“Hello!” barked Gabby.
A little pink worm peeked up.
“I’m trying to dig my tunnel,” the worm said sadly. “But everyone keeps stepping near me.”
Gabby carefully sat down.
“I can help!” she said.
Gabby wagged her tail and politely asked the birds, squirrels, and rabbits to watch where they hopped. Soon, the garden became quiet and safe.
The worm happily finished his tunnel.
“Thank you, Gabby!” he smiled.
Gabby grinned.
“Little friends need kindness too.”
Then the two friends enjoyed the warm sunshine together beside the flowers.
