Charlie the chipmunk loved snacks more than anything!
One sunny afternoon, he opened his pantry and gasped — there were piles of nuts, berries, cookies, and seeds everywhere!
“I’ll eat… hmm… maybe nuts? Or berries? Or—ooh, cookies!” he squeaked, bouncing from one pile to the next.
Soon, the pantry was a mess, and Charlie’s tummy still rumbled. He couldn’t decide what to eat!
Gabby trotted in and laughed. “Charlie, when you try to eat everything, you enjoy nothing! Pick one, and you’ll feel better.”
So Charlie chose a shiny acorn, took a big bite, and smiled. “You’re right, Gabby! One choice at a time is just right.”
