First, Gabby gave a heart to her friend Kitty.
“Happy Valentine’s Day!” Gabby barked happily.
Next, she shared a flower with Bird.
Bird chirped and smiled.
Soon, Gabby’s basket was empty—but her heart was full.
She sat down and held one last big heart close.
Valentine’s Day wasn’t about candy at all.
