Mini Story: Gabby and the Tiny Treasure Map
Gabby the dog was playing in the sand when something fluttered by her paw.
“What’s this?” she wondered.
It was a tiny, crinkly map!
Gabby looked closely. There was a dotted line, a palm tree, and a big red X.
“A treasure map!” she barked excitedly.
Off she went, following the path.
Step, step, step… through the warm sand.
Swish, swish… past the tall grass.
Clip, clop… over a little wooden bridge.
Finally, Gabby reached the big palm tree.
She looked down.
Right under her paw was the X!
Gabby dug and dug…
Scratch, scratch, scratch!
POP!
Out came a tiny treasure chest.
Gabby opened it slowly…
Inside were shiny gold coins—and one special treat just for her!
“Treasure found!” Gabby wagged her tail.
And from that day on, Gabby always kept an eye out…
