Fuzzy the dog woke up to a busy morning.
Her toys were everywhere! The ball rolled under the table, crayons spilled on the rug, and her favorite book was under a pile of socks.
“Oh no,” Fuzzy sighed. “I can’t play or read—I can’t even think!”
Then she remembered what Mom always said:
“One thing at a time, Fuzzy.”
So Fuzzy wagged her tail and started small.
First, she picked up the crayons.
Next, she stacked her books.
Then she put all her toys in the basket.
When everything was tidy, Fuzzy smiled.
“Now I can think—and play!”
That night, as she curled up with her favorite book, Fuzzy whispered,
“Tomorrow, I’ll keep my day un-jumbled!”
