🌼 Mini Story: Daisy’s Big Wish
Daisy was the littlest duckling on the pond.
She had soft yellow feathers, tiny feet, and one very big wish—
to fly high and touch the sky.
Each morning, Daisy practiced.
Flap-flap-flap!
Hop!
SPLASH!
The other ducklings giggled kindly.
“You’re so small, Daisy,” said Piper.
“You’re not ready to fly yet,” said Waddle.
But Daisy didn’t give up.
“I may be small,” she whispered, “but my wish is big.”
She tried again the next day.
And the next.
And the next.
One afternoon, a breeze brushed softly across the water.
Daisy stood tall, took a deep breath…
FLAP-FLAP-FLAP!
This time, her feet left the water.
She rose up—just a little—
but it was enough.
“I flew!” she cheered, spinning in the air before landing in a happy splash.
The other ducklings paddled over.
“You really did it!”
“You flew, Daisy!”
Daisy beamed.
“I wasn’t too small. I just needed time. And wind. And me.”
From then on, whenever the breeze came,
Daisy flapped her wings… and flew a little higher.
